§ 30. THE SIX ORGANS OF SENSE.

Translated from the Samyutta-Nikâya (xii.211).

   And what, O priests, are the six organs of sense?

   Eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind--these, O priests, are called the six organs of sense.
