John 21

GNT

20 ἐπιστραφεὶς ὁ πέτρος βλέπει τὸν μαθητὴν ὃν ἠγάπα ὁ ἰησοῦς ἀκολουθοῦντα, ὃς καὶ ἀνέπεσεν ἐν τῶ δείπνῳ ἐπὶ τὸ στῆθος αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν, κύριε, τίς ἐστιν ὁ παραδιδούς σε;

21 τοῦτον οὗν ἰδὼν ὁ πέτρος λέγει τῶ ἰησοῦ, κύριε, οὖτος δὲ τί;

23 ἐξῆλθεν οὗν οὖτος ὁ λόγος εἰς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὅτι ὁ μαθητὴς ἐκεῖνος οὐκ ἀποθνῄσκει. οὐκ εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῶ ὁ ἰησοῦς ὅτι οὐκ ἀποθνῄσκει, ἀλλ᾽, ἐὰν αὐτὸν θέλω μένειν ἕως ἔρχομαι [, τί πρὸς σέ];

1  After3326 these things5023 Jesus2424 showed5319 himself1438 again3825 to the3588 disciples3101 at1909 the3588 sea2281 of Tiberias;5085 and1161 on this wise3779 showed5319 he himself.

2  There were2258 together3674 Simon4613 Peter,4074 and2532 Thomas2381 called3004 Didymus,1324 and2532 Nathanael3482 of575 Cana2580 in Galilee,1056 and2532 the3588 sons of Zebedee,2199 and2532 two1417 other243 of1537 his846 disciples.3101

3  Simon4613 Peter4074 saith3004 unto them,846 I go5217 a fishing.232 They say3004 unto him,846 We2249 also2532 go2064 with4862 thee.4671 They went forth,1831 and2532 entered305 into1519 a ship4143 immediately:2117 and2532 that1565 night3571 they caught4084 nothing.3762

4  But1161 when the morning4405 was now2235 come,1096 Jesus2424 stood2476 on1519 the3588 shore:123 but3305 the3588 disciples3101 knew1492 not3756 that3754 it was2076 Jesus.2424

5  Then3767 Jesus2424 saith3004 unto them,846 Children,3813 have2192 ye any3387 meat? They4371 answered611 him,846 No.3756

6  And1161 he3588 said2036 unto them,846 Cast906 the3588 net1350 on1519 the3588 right1188 side3313 of the3588 ship,4143 and2532 ye shall find. They2147 cast906 therefore,3767 and2532 now2089 they were not able2480 3756 to draw1670 it846 for575 the3588 multitude4128 of fishes.2486

7  Therefore3767 that1565 disciple3101 whom3739 Jesus2424 loved25 saith3004 unto Peter,4074 It is2076 the3588 Lord.2962 Now3767 when Simon4613 Peter4074 heard191 that3754 it was2076 the3588 Lord,2962 he girt1241 his fisher's coat1903 unto him, (for1063 he was2258 naked,)1131 and2532 did cast906 himself1438 into1519 the3588 sea.2281

8  And1161 the3588 other243 disciples3101 came2064 in a little ship;4142 (for1063 they were2258 not3756 far3112 from575 land,1093 but235 as it were5613 two575 hundred1250 cubits,)4083 dragging4951 the3588 net1350 with fishes.2486

9  As soon then as5613 3767 they were come576 to1519 land,1093 they saw991 a fire of coals439 there,2749 and2532 fish3795 laid thereon,1945 and2532 bread.740

10  Jesus2424 saith3004 unto them,846 Bring5342 of575 the3588 fish3795 which3739 ye have now3568 caught.4084

11  Simon4613 Peter4074 went up,305 and2532 drew1670 the3588 net1350 to1909 land1093 full3324 of great3173 fishes,2486 a hundred and fifty and three:1540 4004 5140 and2532 for all there were5607 so many,5118 yet was not3756 the3588 net1350 broken.4977

12  Jesus2424 saith3004 unto them,846 Come1205 and dine.709 And1161 none3762 of the3588 disciples3101 durst5111 ask1833 him,846 Who5101 art1488 thou?4771 knowing1492 that3754 it was2076 the3588 Lord.2962

13  Jesus2424 then3767 cometh,2064 and2532 taketh2983 bread,740 and2532 giveth1325 them,846 and2532 fish3795 likewise.3668

14  This5124 is now2235 the third time5154 that Jesus2424 showed5319 himself to his848 disciples,3101 after that he was risen1453 from1537 the dead.3498

15  So3767 when3753 they had dined,709 Jesus2424 saith3004 to Simon4613 Peter,4074 Simon,4613 son of Jona,2495 lovest25 thou me3165 more4119 than these? He5130 saith3004 unto him,846 Yea,3483 Lord;2962 thou4771 knowest1492 that3754 I love5368 thee.4571 He saith3004 unto him,846 Feed1006 my3450 lambs.721

16  He saith3004 to him846 again3825 the second time,1208 Simon,4613 son of Jona,2495 lovest25 thou me? He3165 saith3004 unto him,846 Yea,3483 Lord;2962 thou4771 knowest1492 that3754 I love5368 thee.4571 He saith3004 unto him,846 Feed4165 my3450 sheep.4263

17  He saith3004 unto him846 the3588 third time,5154 Simon,4613 son of Jona,2495 lovest5368 thou me?3165 Peter4074 was grieved3076 because3754 he said2036 unto him846 the3588 third time,5154 Lovest5368 thou me?3165 And2532 he said2036 unto him,846 Lord,2962 thou4771 knowest1097 all things;3956 thou4771 knowest1492 that3754 I love5368 thee.4571 Jesus2424 saith3004 unto him,846 Feed1006 my3450 sheep.4263

18  Verily,281 verily,281 I say3004 unto thee,4671 When3753 thou wast2258 young,3501 thou girdedst2224 thyself,4572 and2532 walkedst4043 whither3699 thou wouldest:2309 but1161 when3752 thou shalt be old,1095 thou shalt stretch forth1614 thy4675 hands,5495 and2532 another243 shall gird2224 thee,4571 and2532 carry5342 thee whither3699 thou wouldest2309 not.3756

19  1161 This5124 spake2036 he, signifying4591 by what4169 death2288 he should glorify1392 God.2316 And2532 when he had spoken2036 this,5124 he saith3004 unto him,846 Follow190 me.3427

20  Then1161 Peter,4074 turning about,1994 seeth991 the3588 disciple3101 whom3739 Jesus2424 loved25 following;190 which3739 also2532 leaned377 on1909 his846 breast4738 at1722 supper,1173 and2532 said,2036 Lord,2962 which5101 is2076 he that betrayeth3860 thee?4571

21  Peter4074 seeing1492 him5126 saith3004 to Jesus,2424 Lord,2962 and1161 what5101 shall this man3778 do?

22  Jesus2424 saith3004 unto him,846 If1437 I will2309 that he846 tarry3306 till2193 I come,2064 what5101 is that to4314 thee?4571 follow190 thou4771 me.3427

23  Then3767 went this saying abroad1831 3778 3056 among1519 the3588 brethren,80 that3754 that1565 disciple3101 should not3756 die:599 yet2532 Jesus2424 said2036 not3756 unto him,846 He shall3754 not3756 die;599 but,235 If1437 I will2309 that he846 tarry3306 till2193 I come,2064 what5101 is that to4314 thee?4571

24  This3778 is2076 the3588 disciple3101 which testifieth3140 of4012 these things,5023 and2532 wrote1125 these things:5023 and2532 we know1492 that3754 his846 testimony3141 is2076 true.227

25  And1161 there are2076 also2532 many4183 other things243 which3745 Jesus2424 did,4160 the which,3748 if1437 they should be written1125 every one,2596 1520 I suppose3633 that even the3588 world2889 itself846 could not3761 contain5562 the3588 books975 that should be written.1125 Amen.281

Vul

3 Dicit eis Simon Petrus: Vado piscari.

5 Dixit ergo eis Jesus: Pueri, numquid pulmentarium habetis?

12 Dicit eis Jesus: Venite, prandete.

15 Cum ergo prandissent, dicit Simoni Petro Jesus: Simon Joannis, diligis me plus his? Dicit ei: Etiam Domine, tu scis quia amo te. Dicit ei: Pasce agnos meos.

16 Dicit ei iterum: Simon Joannis, diligis me? Ait illi: Etiam Domine, tu scis quia amo te. Dicit ei: Pasce agnos meos.

17 Dicit ei tertio: Simon Joannis, amas me?

22 Dicit ei Jesus: Sic eum volo manere donec veniam, quid ad te? tu me sequere.
